Rize is modernizing rice farming across Southeast Asia — building the digital infrastructure that makes rice cultivation more productive, more resilient, and dramatically more sustainable.

Rice farming accounts for approximately 12% of global methane emissions (and ~30% in Southeast Asia), yet it supports the livelihoods of millions of smallholder farmers. The transition to modern, measurable, lower-emission farming is inevitable — but it only works if there’s trusted last-mile infrastructure (identity, land, task execution, payments, and verifiable data).

Our mission is three-fold:

• Decarbonize rice agriculture: eliminate 100 megatons of carbon emissions by 2040
• Enhance farmers’ bottom line: improve yields and reduce cost-to-farm through better operations and financing
• Build a globally trusted platform: create a verifiable network where modern practices can scale

✨ Who you are (Requirements)

Must-haves

As a product manager at Rize, you'll need a solid foundation across several key areas. Some of these you should already have mastered; others we're happy to develop together as you grow with us.

• 5 + years of product management experience
• User-Centric Design Thinking: Ability to empathize with users, understand their needs and pain points, and translate those into product features.
• Technical Proficiency: Understanding of the technical aspects of app and web development to effectively communicate with developers and make informed decisions.
• Data Analysis: Skill in interpreting user data and analytics to guide product decisions and improvements.
• Agile and Scrum Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development processes and the ability to work within sprint cycles, managing backlogs and prioritizations effectively.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise between stakeholders, users, and the development team.
