About the Role:

Location: Indonesia (Jakarta) / Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Finance Controller to join our team in either Indonesia (Jakarta)/ Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City). The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with expertise in taxes, accounting, billing, supply chain management, and employee reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

1. Tax Compliance:
   • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and requirements in Indonesia /Vietnam.
   • Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
   • Stay updated on changes to tax laws and advise the company on the implications.
2. Accounting and Reporting:
   • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
   • Prepare financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards.
   • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
3. Billing and Accounts Receivable:
   • Manage billing processes and ensure invoices are issued promptly and accurately.
   • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
   • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
4. Supply Chain Management:
   • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
   • Analyze supplier contracts and negotiate favorable terms.
   • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to minimize disruptions in supply.
5. Employee Reimbursement:
   • Administer employee reimbursement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
   • Review and approve expense reports for accuracy and completeness.
   • Provide guidance to employees on reimbursement procedures and policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/IAPI or equivalent  certification is a must.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in Indonesia or Vietnam.
• Strong understanding of local tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and the local language (Bahasa Indonesia for Jakarta, Vietnamese for Ho Chi Minh City).
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions proactively.
