What are We Building

We are developing a platform which will help our field operations team to effectively manage their task, capture cultivation logs from million plus hectares of paddy fields, effectively manage the supply chain of agri-inputs and aggregate third party services required during the lifecycle of paddy fields.

About the Role

Rize is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about finance and operations, with a strong eye for accuracy and a hands-on approach to day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

A. Payment and Reimbursement:

• Handle staff reimbursements and vendor payments, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing.
• Support the finance team in maintaining accurate records of disbursements.

B. Document Verification and Management:

• Verify responses to the Vendor Onboarding Form.
• Upload required documents to Zoho Books or other relevant systems.

C. Accounting Tasks:

• Assist in recording accounting transactions in Zoho Books.
• Support month-end closing tasks as assigned.

D. Ad Hoc Support:

• Handle administrative errands, such as visiting the bank or tax office.
• Provide general operational support as needed.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Strong English communication skills, capable of business-level interactions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Good to Know

• Everyone is generally remote so you need to be able to communicate really well and use many types of communication mediums including chat, call, video, etc.
