About the Role

Objective

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our team. This hybrid position focuses primarily on accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements

Weekly Payment Processing

• Collect, verify, and process payment requests from various departments.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of weekly vendor and internal payments.

Travel & Expense (T&E) Monitoring

• Review and track employee expense claims and travel reimbursements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and budget limits.

Invoicing & Monitoring on Zoho

• Create and issue sales invoices on Zoho Books.
• Monitor the invoicing process to ensure timely delivery and follow-up.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve any invoice discrepancies.

Document Management

• Maintain and organize physical and digital accounting records.
• Ensure documentation is audit-ready and in compliance with local regulations.

Month-End Closing: Manual Journal Posting

• Prepare and post manual journal entries during the month-end closing process in Zoho.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Ad-hoc Requests

• Support the finance team with data, reports, or other tasks as required.
• Participate in internal projects or process improvement initiatives.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting and/or finance
• Experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting software is strongly preferred.
• Experience in outsourcing accounting firms is preferred.
• Familiarity with Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) and tax regulations is required.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive, willing to learn, and open to handling both routine and ad-hoc work.
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese.

What are we building

We are developing a platform which will help our field operations team to effectively manage their task, capture cultivation logs from million plus hectares of paddy fields, effectively manage the supply chain of agri-inputs and aggregate third party services required during the lifecycle of paddy fields.
